Leone Patterson, a 6'1" Finance Director and New Zealand native, scored 6 points and 1 assist for the New Zealand National team in the Women's preliminary match against Poland on September 16, 2000. Yoland Griffith, a 6' 3" starter on the United States Women's National Basketball Team, a member of the WNBA Sacramento Monarchs, and 1999 WNBA Most Valuable Player, made 5 points and 6 rebounds in the Olympics preliminary match against Korea on September 16, 2000.
